Invoicebird is an invoice PDF tool for freelancers. This page explains what we store and why. It is not legal advice.

What we collect

• Account email, name, and a hashed password.
• Business profile, client details, and invoice contents you enter so we can generate PDFs and show your dashboard.
• Password-reset tokens and recent login, signup, and reset attempts used to prevent abuse.
• If you later enable paid billing, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.

How we use it

We use this data to run the product: authenticate you, create invoices, send password-reset email, and (if enabled) manage a paid plan. We do not sell your data.

Where it lives

The app is hosted on Vercel. Account and invoice data are stored in Postgres (Neon). Transactional email, when configured, is sent through Resend.

Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. Rate-limit records are short-lived. Password-reset tokens expire after one hour.
